Half Giants are a hearty folk standing at a height nearly twice that of a human, or about 10' tall (a little of 3 meters tall). This makes them imposing in combat but can also make it hard to move through spaces that weren't designed for them.
Giant Born society values strength and all spend time serving in their military. Though many learn other fighting styles they are known for Shield Walls that can stop cavalry charges and using spears as long as a man is tall.
Damage Resistance 2 (Tough Skin)
Your resilient skin reduces incoming damage by 2, however your flesh isn't armor and doesn't protect you against blunt trauma, or attacks that need only touch you or break your skin. Attacks that deal enough damage to get past your Damage Resistance but deal 0 Hit Point damage are considered to have hurt you when it comes to attacks that need to break your skin, like many poisons.
Reduced Consumption 1/2
Half Giants eat and drink about half as much as one would expect for a being of their size or about as much as a human would in similar circumstances.
Ham-Fisted
Half Giants have meaty hands, thick fingers, and while they are very strong they lack fine motor control. You suffer a penalty -3 to any DX-based roll to do fine work. This includes all DX-based rolls against Artist, Jeweler, Knot-Tying, Leatherworking, Lockpicking, Pickpocket, Sewing, Sleight of Hand, and Surgery, as well as DX-based rolls to do fine work with Machinist or Mechanic (e.g., on clock- work) and to the Fast-Draw skill.
This does not affect IQ-based tasks or large-scale DX-based tasks, nor does it modify combat-related die rolls other than Fast-Draw.
You are also a messy eater, can’t tie a necktie properly, and so on.
Sleepy
Though Half Giants require less by way of food and drink they some what make up for this by requiring more sleep than a human would. Half Giants sleep 10 hours a day on average.
