Depicted as a Matronly Asian figure with medium length hair pulled back into a ponytail, pinned high with a band of pure jade. She wears the clothes of a wealthy professional, though her profession depends on who she’s talking to as she can be anything from a farmer, fisher, barmaid, or sailor, scribe, or magister. Satkuthan promotes civilization, the choice to live with others, in an attempt to make the world better by working together. She is often the patron of teachers of all subjects, students and apprentices, as well as traders and merchants. While Satkuthan is the goddess of trade she abhors greed and the hoarding of resources that some in the upper layers of society can be tempted into.
Worship: All major civilizations have temples to Satkuthan in their capitals, and those who seek to promote the benefits of civilization worship her. Teachers, judges, magistrates, law keepers, lawyers, paladins, and those seeking justice or atonement honor Satkuthan. Her temples often double as courts or places of arbitration, and oaths sworn before Satkuthan are accompanied by a small ritual that binds oath takers, if one breaks the oath the other immediately knows. The clergy in Satkuthan’s temples are all well versed on at least some aspect of local law and those with questions often seek them out with their questions.
Offerings: Gifts of money, food, and volunteering to and for the temple's community outreach programs function as offerings to the goddess as she seeks to raise up the lowest of the population.
Celebrations: Satkuthan is given thanks during the harvest festivals, when her bounty has been reaped and proper thanks for her generosity can be given. While her aspects of Justice and Law are not celebrated but maintained. A moment's thanks before the daily work of her faithful and those who work in the professions he champions are enough to fuel her passions.
