Damage Resistance 1 (Tough Skin)
Your thick skin reduces incoming damage by 1, however your flesh isn't armor and doesn't protect you against blunt trauma, or attacks that need only touch you or break your skin. Attacks that deal enough damage to get past your Damage Resistance but deal 0 Hit Point damage are considered to have hurt you when it comes to attacks that need to break your skin, like many poisons.
Fit
You have better cardiovascular health than your HT alone would indicate. You get +1 to all HT rolls (to stay conscious, avoid death, resist disease or poison, etc.). This does not improve your HT attribute or HT-based skills!
You also recover FP at twice the normal rate, though this advantage applies only to FP lost to exertion, heat, etc. It has no effect on FP spent to power magic spells.
Hard to Kill 2
You are incredibly difficult to kill.
Orcs have +2 to HT rolls made for survival at -HP or below, and on any HT roll where failure means instant death (due to heart failure, poison, etc.). If this bonus makes the difference between success and failure, you collapse, apparently dead (or disabled), but come to in the usual amount of time – see Recovering from Unconsciousness. A successful Diagnosis roll reveals the truth.
Hard to Subdue 2
Orcs are hard to knock out. Orcs have +2 to any HT roll to avoid unconsciousness – whether as a result of injury, drugs, or weapons – and to resist supernatural abilities that cause unconsciousness.
Night Vision 3
Orcs have good night vision and reduce penalties to vision and combat related to low lighting by up to 3.
Teeth (Sharp)
Your bite deals thrust-1 cutting damage.
Alcohol Tolerance
He hearty constitution of Orcs gives them a +1 bonus when attempting to resist the effects of alcohol.
Bad Temper (Self-Control 12)
You are not in full control of your emotions. Make a self-control roll in any stressful situation. If you fail, you lose your temper and must insult, attack, or otherwise act against the cause of the stress.
Social Stigma (Minority Group)
Orcs are members of a minority in most of the civilized world, that the dominant cultures regard as “barbarians” or “inferior.” You get -2 on all reaction rolls made by anyone except your own kind. In an area, profession, or situation where your minority is especially rare, you get +2 on reaction rolls made by your own kind.
Unattractive
Most members of other races view the broad, rough features of Orcs as primitive and unattractive. With the exception of those few who find such features specifically attractive most Orcs receive a -1 to reactions rolls.
Chauvinistic
Orc society is based around strongly gendered rolls in which men are warrior and providers and women or leaders and nurturers.
Orcs tend to show deference towards strong women, seeing them as leaders, teachers, diplomats, and social workers. While men in leadership rolls are often viewed with a level of distrust outside of military organizations, as men (especially orc men) are seen as too temperamental and brash.
This leads to an extremely low level of Intolerance. You are always aware of differences in the gender rolls, even if you do not actually react poorly to others. Thin-skinned individuals might occasionally react to you at -1 as a result.
Code of Honor
Orcs have a loose Code of Honor based around honest intentions, honoring their leaders, and protecting nature.
