The Calendar of Alethia

Alethia has a Calendar of 422 days split into 14 months of 30 days with the Summer and Winter Solstices being falling outside the normal flow of months.

Each month consists of 5 weeks, each 6 days long.  Structured occupations within cities often follow a structure of 4 days of work with 2 days of rest for each week.  Though many have occupations that require a less structured work schedule.  Money changers, for example, are rarely open for business on rest days.

Celebrations to the gods typically take place during the 'peak' week of each month, with that week often consisting of shorter work days and time spent making offerings and showing respect for the appropriate god for that month.
