Depicted as a great and terrifying water Wyrm/Serpent covered in grey green scales randomly speckled with gold scales, as well as a blue skinned woman with flowing green hair, dressed as a belly dancer covered in glittering shells, coins, and jewels. Samudrānadi is in a state of perpetual motion, dancing with the motions of the world; wind, gravity, and currents. She is sometimes depicted as a serpent dancing in the sky among the rains when they are especially dense. Samudrānadi cares little for anything beyond the scope of her waters, though she has a love of the sailors that brave her waters, she does little to protect them from the movements of her dancing waves.
Worship: Sailors, fisherman, and those living on coasts and rivers. Also, those in dryer climates often pray to her in times of drought, seeking rain
Offerings: To Samudranadi take the form of carved seashells typically made to look like coins or scales that she might add to her outfit (the wealthy may offer actual coins or jewels), and river stones that are carved and kept as idols for safe passage through her domain.
Celebrations: Priests dance at her temples on the shore of the oceans for around an hour at high tide every day in thanks for her bounty. And a large celebration is held during the spring equinox.
